Easter

We celebrated Easter this year by having a special lesson about the Savior and retelling the story of Easter. We ate dinner the way Jesus would have eaten when He was on the earth (sitting on the floor, eating out of the same bowl, etc.) The Easter Mom came and left Easter baskets for the children- sticker books a spring animal "mask", colored eggs and a wee bit of candy for the child who is old enough. We went to my parents' for an Easter Dinner on Monday and had a HUGE Easter egg hunt with the kids- they had SO. MUCH. FUN. my parents had a ton of eggs and the boys, and Adilene loved "hunting" for them and the spoils (most of which were nuts and grapes and the like).

We also made bird feeders for my parents and our yard, we used cut out cardboard, peanut butter and seeds...

Finished Product

We were so happy to make a meaningful and fun Easter, I am so grateful that our Savior chose to give us so much and I hope I can remember Him each day.

As a side note- grand total of birds who ate from bird feeder: 0
Squirrels: at least 6

They hung off the roof to eat from it- crazies!
