So I haven't blogged in almost a month because we've been busy celebrating the season- and also because I'm a bum! So the next few blogs will be catch ups...
December 16th was my mom's birthday, she is the greatest mom ever! She works so hard to make us (her family) so happy and we love her so much! We celebrated at my house and had her favorite... Pollo Loco with a side of green bean casserole, salad and rolls. Also we served Wassail (a cider drink- recipe from sister in law) it was a hit! Anyway's we had a grand ol' time celebrating Mom's birthday and being together as a family. Here are some pictures...
The birthday girl with her sweater that says, "Christmas with my grandma is a hoot" and has all the grandkids' names on it under their "owl persona" and a new water bottle for the gym- since mom shattered hers when it fell from an undisclosed location... the toilet tank, gross!
This is mom's homemade German Chocolate and coconut- pecan frosting that she requested;) I think the lit flowing lights of the candles in this pic look so pretty.
