I Like Normal

Today (October 4th) we had our first afternoon that felt normal - I don’t know what normal is, but I wasn’t worried about a thing and wasn’t looking at the clock for any reason except to see how long we had until Josh got home. Michael and I had soup for dinner, I nursed Adilene and we all played outside for 2 hours in the cool but humid October air. It was great! I pushed Michael in the swing while Adilene kicked her little legs wildly on the grass. I love the fall, I love the sound of kids running home from school down my street (and they aren’t even mine). I love the changing colors of the leaves and the coolness of the air. I am so happy and thankful for the many blessings that I call mine and for a loving Heavenly Father who gives us these wonderful moments to enjoy and treasure.
