Today Josh had his last of 16 Final Exams (some written, some practicals) YIKES! Anyway, he came home at 10:30am to a house full of small children and the Primary Leaders... we were stuffing bags for gifts to the Primary children on Sunday.
Christmas Trail Mix

Josh was even nice enough to run back to the store for us when we realized we were short on our trail mix supplies;) What a sweetie!
After Michael's nap we went on a walk, ate leftovers for dinner and played, played, played! Michael was so happy to have his daddy home! While we were headed out walking, Josh ran back to the car to get his hat, and Michael cried AHHHH! Daadaadaa;) How adorable is that! I am so happy to have him home too! For almost a month! We are heading into our Christmas festivities (more on that tomorrow). We enjoyed some much needed family time tonight, the Spirit was felt and fun was had:) The following are some fun pictures from tonight, minus the goofing on the couch;)
Who knew an old peanut butter jar could be worth so many laughs?

Michael and me... tail end of dancing and me showing him our pumpkin bread that is cooling

Michael's new favorite spot... the kitchen table

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread + Hot Cocoa = all smiles

Michael made us so happy while we read "A Wish to be a Christmas Tree", this is a story about an overgrown, old tree at a Christmas Tree farm who watches all the other tree's get picked year after year, to show him how special he is all the woodland animals decorate him as their Christmas Tree. There is a cardinal bird as the focal point on one of the pages and Michael pointed to it and then turned to point out the cardinal on Josh's Card's baseball shirt. I think it is so amazing how much small children learn and know and grasp SO long before they can vocally express it. I am so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who has put me in a position to appreciate this and be a mother to such a sweet little boy:)

Farewell
