Weight Wonderings: Michael

This morning at 8:24am Michael turned 2 years old! I am so honored and thankful to have this little beautiful boy in my life and to be his mom. He means everything to me and I love being with him each day.

At 2 years old, Michael is quite the linguist, he repeats everything we say and can finish the phrases of many of his favorite songs. One being "I Am a Child of God" which we sing before naps and at bedtime each night- per his request. It is so darling. I love his sweet little voice, I love his laugh and his smile and the way he says "thanks mommy". I love him more and more each day.

Today he slept in about 30 minutes and we had Stanley over to play all day! We ate blueberries and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then went outside to play with bubbles, trikes and the toy lawn mower;) We ate otterpops for a snack and played some more. We came inside and the boys had to be rinsed off because they were so dirty- I stripped them down and let them paint in the nude with finger paints int eh tub! It started out hectic but the boys had fun and looked like smurfs. I made "Robin Bird" sandwiches for lunch and put them each down for a nap. They played together in the evening and Michael and I read one of his favorite books at bedtime, "The Boats on the River" and dad came home just in time to sing and say prayers with us and I was so thankful Josh got to be with us for those few precious moments.
