Zoo Day #... what, YOU"RE not keeping count!

On Thursday we (Michael, me, my mom, Kelly and Stanley) went to the zoo for a "stroller safari" for toddlers. The theme was Animal Opposites. The boys got to touch and feel soft and rough things- snake skins were involved; play in different texture boxes; petted a small hissing cockroach (not very small by the way) and a bigger owl. We made a fuzzy caterpillar and a scratchy finned fish. we then toured the Primate house and saw long and short tails, big monkeys and small monkeys (including an infant monkey) and each child earned a Zoo Certificate of Conservation and Education. It was fun and the boys both enjoyed themselves. My mom was sweet enough to take pictures and treat us to Applebee's for lunch;) Which everyone enjoyed- especially me and Peanut!
