Grandma Rosanbalm's 87th Birthday!

Last weekend, the 1st of October, we went to see my Grandma in Missouri for her birthday.

We ate at Summit Hickory Pit- good food and great service, really.

We arrived for this weekend on Friday and went to Michelle and Dan's Housewarming Party for their new house! It's very cute and Michelle (and Dan...lol) did a great job decorating!

On Saturday morning we went to the "Lion's Club" breakfast with my Grandma and Aunt Liz, it was held at the P Hill Memorial building. On the wall there is a picture of my grandpa's brother Leonard, he was a Marine in WWII and didn't come home. It was really nice to share that time with Grandma and Liz and to help a good cause. They also had a craft fair outside where I bought Michael a "trick or treating" bag (more on that later).

We went to Lisa's kid's soccer games (if you haven't been to a little kid soccer game- GO, you will laugh at the parents and fall in love with how funny kids are)!

These are: Makenzie, Gracie and Emily (with Lisa)- they are hilarious! Emily made 4 goals and each time she turned around to give us all a double "thumbs up"!

Jeff and Stan; my Michael loved Lisa;)

We went to the cemetery too

We went to the pond (on my Grandma's land) for a weenie roast and s'mores. We later had a hay ride too... that's right my friends, our OWN hayride!

My dad mowing the fields... Michael- green with envy because he isn't driving that tractor with huge awesome wheels;) He's SO into wheels!
Fall is my favorite time of year, I love, love, love the colors and smells. It just makes me happy inside;) I am so thankful that in Heavenly Father's plan, He decided to give us all the colors and beauty of fall to enjoy while the earth prepares for the slumber of winter. It's just beautiful.

I think this pic is really funny because Michael is "showing Emily who's boss of his stroller" step back!

Hope you are enjoying the changing season too;)
